Once upon a time, in a land not to far away,

I was so stressed out; it was playing havoc on my body and my mind. There was a sign at a local park advertising "Yoga Classes". (Thank you Linda Oelschlaeger.) My, daughter agreed to attend a class with me. Unsure of what to expect we took the first step and rolled out our mats. It was and continues to be one of the greatest experiences of my life.

In 2008, after an extensive 9 month Anusara teacher training program, I began teaching and received the 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher credential (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance. In May 2011, after more extensive training, I earned the Anusara Inspired Teacher credential.  I am an E-RYT (Experience Register Yoga Teacher).  My yoga education includes an additional 330+ hours through attending workshops and training sessions led by local and international master yoga teachers. I continue to study yoga philosophy, anatomy, asana and therapeutic yoga strategies because I love it.

My training was mostly in Anusara Yoga. I have ventured onto a broader path but continue to practice and teach Alignment based and therapeutic yoga.

Yoga rescued me. It offered a path toward knowing and settling into myself. I became so enamored by the practice and the amazing benefits from practicing, I had to share it.  Now, 2022, yoga continues to be my constant source of balance. The practice has pulled me through this wild, unpredictable and sometimes scary life.

I am grateful for and deeply love my family, teachers, students and this practice. It is my intention to continue practicing, learning, teaching and sharing yoga. I hope you will join me on this amazing journey.
