"Our Mission: To get safer products into the hands of everyone."

"Decades of studies indicate that serious health issues (including but not limited to asthma, cancer, and infertility) are on the rise and are due in some part to our ongoing exposure to toxic chemicals—whether it’s in the shower, on our commute, while we eat lunch at a local restaurant, or when we clean our kitchens at home."

I joined Beautycounter about 2 years ago because of the mission.  Until recently, I've been pretty shy about talking with friends and family about the company and its products.  I felt that it was somehow a conflict of interest with Yoga and Health Coaching.  While reading Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride's book "Put your Heart in your Mouth" there were several things that really hit home.   "Every time you use personal care products you cause endothelial* injury." "In this book we cannot go into the details of all the toxins present in our toiletries and cosmetics." Just to name a few: Talc, Sodium Lauryl (Laureth) Sulfate (SLS), Fluoride, Titanium Oxide, Triethanolamine (TEA) and Diethanolamine (DEA).....

It read like a horror story!  And, that's when the light bulb came on, for me.  Beautycounter has an answer for this problem and I can't sit quietly anymore.

Email me, call me, talk to me!  Ask me questions.  If I don't know the answer, I will try to find it, until we know.  Educate and protect yourself and your loved ones.  That's what I'm trying to do.
